When does Qonto's billing period start?

Billing is changing at Qonto!

So far, you've received your invoice on the anniversary date of your account creation (if you subscribed on May 15th for example, your invoice was available on the 15th of each month). As we want to support you (and your accounting) the best we can, Qonto is changing its pace to match yours. That's why we are now offering a billing method based on a monthly calendar period, from beginning to end of the month.

☝️ Good to know: We want to make a smooth transition between the two billing methods so this month (almost) nothing changes: we will charge you on your anniversary date and will reimburse you at the end of the month the advance fees paid for October. Here is an example to get a clearer picture. 👇

At Qonto, our (new) billing works this way:

  • At the beginning of each month, we charge you for your subscription and your extra cards, if needed.
  • During the month, the additional fees (off-subscription operations) are charged.
  • On the 5th of each month, your invoice is available in your Qonto app with all your fee details (your subscription, your extra cards, and the additional fees) of last month.

Note: You will be charged for the first time only after your free trial period.
